David – Head Brewer & Managing Director

David like many other Brewers he knows comes from an IT background, a real ale fan and Camra member for several years he decided to try his hand at brewing. This journey began in his garage on a small 40 pint full mash nano brewery where he developed not only a taste for brewing but also the 1st 3 beers you have all experienced. After several months of researching the idea Raw Brewing Company was created and the 5 barrel brewery was source from Prospect brewery in Wigan after their recent expansion. Producing a quality pint is the main focus now, developing a core range of beers and complementing this range with regular specials.  

Michelle - Director

Michelle brings financial expertise to the Raw table with a background in financial management and credit control.

A recently converted real ale fan Michelle aims to learn the process, develop a recipe and brew in the near future to become another Brewster in Derbyshire. With Dark Mild beers being her favourite we are hoping the 1st of her recipes will be a Dark Mild to add to the core range.

Saffie – Brewery Dog

Saffie is the brewery dog, a loving if not slightly excitable Weimeraner. She is the inspiration for Grey Ghost IPA as Grey Ghost is a term often used for Weimeraners. But also the style fits too, a strong willed blonde with a lot of character and those who have met her know she has plenty of character as well as a taste for beer!
